ACCIDENT CHECKLIST
1. Call 911 and Report the Incident
Report any injuries to the police and request medical assistance if necessary. Request that the police take a traffic collision report.
2. Exchange Information
- All other driver’s license plates.
- All other driver’s licenses.
- All other driver’s insurance cards.
- All other driver’s vehicle registrations.
Take Pictures
- All exchanged information.
- The scene where the incident occurred.
- All four sides of each vehicle involved.
- Close up photos of each vehicle’s license plate.
- All other parties involved.
Gather Witness Information
Speak to anyone who witnsesssed the incident and get their name and contact information.
